1890's W.P. Walter's and Son's lathe

Hey "jumps4" You better jump on that. Foot powered and he can deliver. Might be another thou to deliver though. No need to worry about the electronics. Thanx for the picture. No I'm not that old !!!

it's been on craigs list for a year wonder why?

My guess is the price. A thousand bucks for a "rusty hunk of metal" would be the attitude of most people, even a lot of "machinist" types. The kind of person that would buy that would be one that just wants to restore a neat antique and put it on display. That price seems pretty high to me considering... Now, if a guy could pick it up for "a song" I'd be on it in a heartbeat.

$200.00 would be a fair price for both the seller & buyer, Probably more than scrap price.

Down where Paul lives there's an old shaper painted up & sitting outside a factory, Looks cool and Paul says it's been there for years.
