I have this big old steady in my spares box. I have been looking at online photos till I'm cross-eyed. Finally, the very last ebay steady listed is a dead ringer for mine (except better photos and condition)!

But he doesn't know what it fits either!

It's a bit unique in that the fingers are 1/2" cylinders with brass tips, where most others use flat/rectangular fingers.
Width of the base is 6.0"
Width of the bed lock plate between the rails is 3.75"
Center of ring to tip of vee is 7.5" which is what makes me think it's a 15" lathe

Does anyone recognize this varmint?

Here's mine: th_IMG_33792.jpg

Yours looks like a South Bend. 15 inch is a close proximity. Size I don't know. The center hole just tells you its capacity. Mine center hole is larger that that and it's only for a 9X20. I fabricated this one. That is a 18" Rule under it.
