After 2 yrs (thanks covid!) and a few machine changes I finally have a 1440HVT-2 sitting in the shop. This thing is an absolute unit and is extremely well put together. I got it uncrated, cleaned up, and leveled on Friday and started making chips with it today. We had a few hiccups and some minor issues ill talk to PM about on Monday but by and large this machine is amazing and if you have one on order you will not be disappointed in any way. First project was making a tool post for a knock off multifix tool post. I will need to make a something to lift the machine up about 4" though, Im only 5'9" and its a little low even for me. Then swap the jog button out for a joystick.

Congratulations on the new machine! Glad to hear the wait was worth it.

Congratulations! Glad it made it safely to your shop because that was one heck of a journey.

That lathe is nearly identical to my Eisen 1440. You are going to love it.
