12" Craftsman spindle lock

Saw these on Ebay and decided to 3d print my own. It fit (I got lucky) and worked first time out (just had to clean up some of the rough casting on the head stock. If anyone is interested I'll gladly share the STL file. Stu

I bought one from Dave Thacker on eBay - works well. What type of plastic did you use, and did you print it full density?

I used PLA 40% infill and 4 exterior walls. It seems plenty strong, I have full engagement on 15 teeth 3/4" wide and the stress is oriented across the walls and not across the layers.

Sounds good. The one I have seems to be around that same density, just going by weight. I think his is ABS.
