10L saddle removale

Hi,

Been reading for a while and finally decided to take the plunge and buy a lathe. I found a 10L that I plan on taking apart to move and install in my basement. The lathe has a taper attachment and I'm wondering if it's possible to remove the saddle off the bed leaving it attached.

I'm pretty sure you have to remove it Cameron, it's pretty heavy

I'd give it a try, but I'd separate the apron to remove some weight.
