10" Pedestal Grinder & Metal Dust Collector

I recently picked up a 10" Van Dorn pedestal grinder & a small Aget model 420 dust collector from two separate auctions.
The dust collector was originally connected to a surface grinder & the pedestal grinder was connected to a whole shop system.

Once I clean them both up I plan to connect the two together, I also plan to add a 2" belt grinder to the dust collector down the road.

I was just wondering if anyone has any pictures or ideas of connecting a metal dust collector to several machines?

The original dust collector set-up shown above had a fairly small collection area & filter, So I decided to tare down the original dust collector & I'm going to modify it into a more traditional style dust collector.

I'm still working out the details, But I plan to use a 20gal. metal trash can for the dust collection & a cartridge style filter.
Here's what the impeller housing & cyclone look like after removing it from the cabinet.
