1 7/8 4 jaw chuck

There I was, looking through he shelves of used chucks.......I looked at a couple but the i.d.threads to screw it on my 1 1/2-8 spindle looked small....so I opted for another that looked right to my eye.......
Well shirt. I picked out a 1 7/8 chuck instead of a 1 1/2.
I had picked out a chuck mounting plate a couple months back and it screws on but not deep enough as it looks like the register is to deep.
I guess when I go back I better take my spindle with me.....

That 1 7/8"-8 came off a SB of some sort ( possibly ) as I have one sitting in the basement . I started up a new thread down in the trading section FWIW so we all could get rid of what we don't need and hopefully get what we need .
