So I picked up a Bridgeport clone and needing some advice. What oils do y'all prefer where do y'all order from?

Mobil Vactra #4 for the ways (Bijur or similar unit if yours has one). #2 is a little thinner and some prefer that.
Either can be had for reasonable price. $18-22 a gallon which should last eternity in a hobby shop. I have a gallon of both for use on all my machines. The head I use spindle oil (Velocite?) but I not sure the brand. Honestly I snagged a little 6oz squeeze bottle of it from the gallon at my work. Again this is lifetime supply given you add like maybe 10 drops a week to the cups.
Theres a few guys on ebay that have put together BP lube packages in reasonable qty of each. Not unreasonable cost either but for a bit more you can buy gallon jugs and share with friends.

Where are you finding Vactra at $18-$22 per gallon? Best I have found is $26....
Here

Thanks

Your probably right. I bought it from Enco awhile back. They always had great specials. Since MSC took over the prices likely have gone up.

Actually I logged on to my msc account today to check what its actually going for. List is $38.48 but my cost is $18 even. Apparently I'm "special" not sure why I don't buy much but hey will take it. I think if you just google vactra the list price shows up.
