Drinking From a Fire Hose

Nice. What if you did not TIG the pieces together. would the center piece be able to turn on it.
 
The two couplings are threaded, I had considered just snugging them tight with hose wrenches.
I pulled the gasket and TIGd.
It's interesting to consider how it might be designed to promote spinning of one of the couplings and thereby treat the nervous fidgeting that comes with lots of coffee.

Yea, but it could also drive others nuts having someone like me sitting her messing with it all the time. But hay it would keep me occupied while they gossip.
 
I guess you all also got an accidental pic of one of my upcoming projects.
A 3 gang table with a single Clausing 20" DP head and column.
The DP is as rough as the table seen in the pics.
Price was right!!

It may be rough but it is better than the little Northern Tool one I have.
