Repairing Cast Iron Handle (a DOH! Moment)

I don't think epoxy will do that well on it since it broke right on the threads that hold the pin that goes into the QCGB faceplate holes. I have some Marine Tex laying around so WTH, I'll try it.

Job weld will hold till you need it to.if new part is available I would replace and braze old one for spare.

Thanks Rich. The ladies and guys at McMaster pickup know me. :) I'm talking about the lever on the QCGB. It's not a wheel. Sheesh, I wish it was though! That'd be an easy fix! So I bit the bullet and ordered a pair of replacement levers from Grizzly. I figured might as well order two and keep one stored. Thanks guys. I'm still gonna try the epoxy on the broken one first. :)

I would buy a new one for 2 reasons. #1 It is currently available, may not be a few years down the road. #2 If you "fix" it the fix will bug you every time you look at it.

To me, it's a sense of inner pride to fix something. Heck, anyone can just go buy a new one.
