Mini-lathe ID help?

One more question, any guesses on the original finish/color on this Dunlap? Maybe a medium gray, or I see kind of a dark cobalt blue on vintage examples online. Pretty certain it was painted this bright blue by a former owner. Bought it on eBay for I think like $60 plus S&H but it's been a few years ago and would like to return it to a semblance of it's original appearance.

I think I've found it. This is an Atlas and the original finish is in fact a dark blue.

The cobalt blue is what you want. Had an Atlas 6-inch lathe (Craftsman branded) at one time and that was its colour. I wouldn't hesitate to go with it.

Depending on how yours was refinished, a gentle rubbing on an untouched part might reveal original paint and primer (under the feet, for example). Done the forensic thing a lot of times on random automotive items to good effect.

New to the forum, thanks for your patience as I begin to explore what's been (and not been) posted.

ID for this small cast lathe I own? 22.5" L, the max distance between centers is approx. 12". Although quite basic, it's substantial in design and weight with nice <Deco/Machine Age> casting details. Cast ID #'s on bottom of bed rails 103.1 and 10326, on headstock interior 10327-103 with a stamped 1, on tailstock interior 10328-103 with a stamped upside-down 3. There are similar numbers on the tool rest. Thanks all. View attachment 231971 View attachment 231974

Just as an FYI, I have one of these little guys. It is a micro version of my other wood lathe, a Dunlap 534.0601, but the little one was too cute to pass up.

I believe those are actually made by Power King, branded as Dunlap. The big brother is a great machine!

Mine was a darker blue. I will grab a picture tomorrow of little tyke tomorrow night.

Okay, I remembered asking this forum what my lathe was. I haven't uploaded the pictures, but I remembered I had already tossed some out onto the interwebs. So, here is the old post asking for an ID on my tiny, cute little lathe :

Here are some pictures showing the original color :

And, showing it next to it's big brother :

Thanks silverhawk, it also gives me a good visual for finding the missing crank. Although the spindles are 1/2" D the knurled end of the tailstock spindle is barely 5/16"D so I'm checking around online and it will be just a matter of luck finding an original. It's out there somewhere.

BTW after looking more closely I found just a bit of the original finish beneath the tool rest that the previous owner had missed with his goopy paintbrush, see arrow below:

That's the color! For something so tiny, they are pretty cool!
