i am starting a new build project. I will be posting it in member projects, but I thought we had a forum for EDM...... but I cannot find one. Is there one here somewhere?

Looking forward to another of your projects. I believe that I remember seeing a forum dedicated to EDM a while ago, but I cannot find it now. If I run across it again, I'll let you know here.
In the mean time, it is good that you feel good enough again to be working on stuff!

Knowing your attention to detail and high skill level I look forward to seeing your EDM project I think there are some post in the members projects section?

Curious as to the general outline of your project. I made a small EDM back in the mid 90s. It has served me pretty well, but it is crude.

There are design/construction books at HSM/Home Shop Machinist (Village Press) and Lindsey Publications (website gone, Abe Books?).
Also try a search on HSM's forum.
If you can access them, the British magazine Model Engineer's Workshop had a few to construct over the years.

There was a very crude design (that worked...sort of...maybe...) many years ago in Popular Science. I think the Google reprints deleted it
but it may exist somewhere on the 'net.

I belong to that forum and am posting the build there also. I thought there was a forum here for EDM, but guess not.
 
I'm wondering if the EDM forum here was one that got deleted when cleaning house due to lack of use. :dejected:
