A little more info vertical? horizontal? And Model? Actually arbor support is a clue............horizontal! KT's are big heavy machines, and not easy to move so this usually affects the price. Horizontal arbors and cutters are really expensive new................. and around used but expensive to ship. If you want to use it to do vertical operations you will need some fairly large angle plates, you can make these if you have time and materials. Bottom line is get as much as you can that fits the machine. One of his alternatives to dispose of the machine is to scrap it. In my part of the world scrap is 50 a ton at the scale. A moderate KT horizontal is 6 tons. So basically that's the bottom line. Most of us that have them would rather give them to some one than scrap it. Again heavy,, how are you going to move it? Pay a rigger? It will be interesting to see how this goes.. Probably MTB50 taper, unless it is really old then it will be probably BS9. And a really old machine will be smaller and lighter.. my thoughts Tim
