Help With A British 3/8- 26 Tpi Thread?

savarin, thanks for the offer. Yes, the heavy wheel acts like a flywheel. The picture I posted is a twin of the bike I have. I've seen several variations of exercise bikes adapted to drive these grain grinders. The design will still allow me to use the exercise bike as intended (i.e. fully functioning with resistance control and speedometer). When I want to grind some grain I'll just slip the belt over the small pulley I've installed onto the bike. Look at the first bike at the top of this web page.

Ah ha! so the pulley is actually fixed to the fly wheel.
It all makes sense now.

UPDATE: I found a supplier out of New York that specializes in British stuff. Wrenches, nuts, bolts, taps, dies, etc. in stock. Gave them a call and said a lot of the British thread pattern taps & dies are made in India. Even the taps being sold in England. I was kind of skeptical but went ahead. Very quick shipping compared to over the pond. Less than $16 to my door in just a few days. I was pleasantly surprised. Very nicely made HSS tap and it cuts great. The test piece I made fits the axle just right. So if you need anything with a British pattern thread give these guys a try.
