Removing Bronze Sleeve Bearing

Mine is an old craftsman, from the 70's when things where made well. Never had it slip as long as it is tighten properly.

I have used a round nose cape chisel many times, especially for blind bearings. I also have the HF slide hammer blind bearing puller and it has always worked well. HF quality varies a lot though.

i believe there is a hydraulic method using grease, a tight fitting hunk of shafting and a big a** hammer.

That is my go to method when there is no through hole behind the bearing.
