the end to parting trouble
this guy made it himself
as he did his lathe, mill, tooling etc.
check out his channel and get amazed
be sure to leave the last one, the endmill grinding fixture, to the last!!!!!!!!!

 
That is called a spring tool. They have been around for probably 100 years. It works by flexing downward and away from the work as the loads change from the tool digging into the work, relieving the pressure momentarily. He did a nice job of making it from simple materials.
