Show us your big old classic Trucks

Thanks, If your ever back in the area give me a shout and I'll give you the 50 cent tour over a beer or two. Mike

Mike I grew up in the same era as you. Your post brings back great memories, well written. Those are a couple of nice looking trucks, even if they are Fords! lol

What a beautiful view from your shop, some nice country around there.

That's a beauty, should you ever decide you would like to see it go to a good home let me know. I can certainly understand your attachment to it. Mike

I've been able to look out the window and see this 1953 for for the last 59 years!
Made a lot of trips from northern Indiana to northern Wisconsin with my Dad when I was a kid!

Put a engine in it when I was 12-13 so I could cut some Pulp Wood.
Had to get Mom to drive when hauling to town! It is 4 Sale!

I really like your 42 carryall ---will like to see pics when you finish it---Dave

Most know me; that I haven't been typing around here too much because sometimes my fingers get stuck and have to
un- snap them old age I guess. Any ways we came upon another rare bird Flxible locally for cheap, no engine but does
have a Allison AT 545. Being busy in the machine shop I found some time and built up a Ford 391 Industrial only because
I had one, and rebuilt that, and found Allison to Ford adaptor on ebay So the power is done. Time & money wise the choice
was to de skin it instead of patch work. We have bought all the 20ga cut to size panels. So now its the cleaning of all those
ribs gussets etc to zink chromate them. Close examination tells me at some point it was sent back to the plant and Flxible
raised the roof. see if I get some pics in here.........sam
I don't know how to put pics in order??

that is an awesome project. keep up the photo;'s . it will be beautiful when finished. . . . . i would have figured out a fuel oil snort and bark but to each their own. . . . love it.

Funny we just gave away a Hammond 1974 Regent organ with the Leslie speaker. Can not sell those organ but they all wanted the Leslie. We finally said "no organ, no Leslie" , what he did with a fully working organ was not our problem, we just needed it out of the house and no one wanted it. Shame about our disposable society attitude.
