I'm in the hunt for a SB 10 L / heavy 10 large faceplate the SB # CB2180L and is a 8.5" faceplate with 8 slots. I can use others as long as there under 10" and slotted and or drilled and tapped.

Personally myself, I would get a chuck back plate of a larger size, like 8", drill and tap holes as you need it for holding your parts. You don't need slots in it as they thought you needed back in the old days. I have one set up for my 13" Sheldon lathe that has a L-00 register on it. The only thing I've really done with it, was mount a small angle plate to it, to hold some brass cross feed nuts on it, to drill , bore and thread. Worked out to be a nice fixture.

Thanks Ken,
I have an 8" BP I could use if needed, the 8 slot works about 25% of the time if your lucky. I only need one to use about once a year but I would like to find a SB to go with my 10L.
