I know that many of us have a Harbor Freight angle grinder, mine is the 4.5 in, #191223, but my question probably applies to any of their 4.5" models, and maybe even the 7".
I have misplaced the "Inner Flange" and it would be easy to make a replacement, if I had all the dimensions. I know it has a 0.625 hole and an O.D. same as the Outer Flange (the one with the spanner wrench holes.) But what is the thickness and depth/width of the shoulders that properly center the cutting disks that have a 0.625" hole?
Can somebody grab their grinder and calipers and make the necessary measurements for me? I've got some little pieces of steel that are ideal for this Project of the Day.

Has anyone else lost theirs? Let me know and I can make a few more if you'd like.

Thanks in Advance,
Greg

I have a 91223 grinder that is probably what you have and not all HF 4.5 grinders are the same.
Inner diameter is 0.630 the outer diameter is 1.575 or 40 mm.
The total thickness is 0.275 with a land on the front and back of the spacer. Both of the lands are 0.870 in diameter. The top land has a height of 0.096 and the bottom has a height of 0.018.
The manual says to use a wheel with a 7/8" hole only and to flip the spacer over for thinner or thicker wheels. Mine did not come with a spacer to use 5/8" inner hub wheels.
All measurements were taken with a HF caliper so your results may vary.

Ray,
I thank you for your well-written description of the part in question. I will wait a day before I start cutting metal to see if anyone else needs one, I have enough raw material for four pieces.
You are correct about the HF item number; I guess the tool was originally marked "ITEM 91223", but the paint has gotten scraped off the "EM" so it looks like "ITE 191223",
