I have a Baldor 7307 bench grinder and I wanting to put a diamond wheel on it. I know it's a 7 inch wheel 1 inch thick with a 5/8 bore. I'm not sure on what I need to buy for grinding lathe bits. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Normally diamond wheels have a 1 1/4 inch bore to fit tool grinders. I don't think I have ever seen one that has a 5/8 bore. I assume you are grinding carbide bits, you can't use a diamond on HSS.
There are Carbide grinding ''Green Wheels'' for carbide grinding on a bench grinder. I normally just use a standard 100 grit gray wheel for grinding both carbide and HSS.
