Welcome to the crazy insane world of L5 ownership !!!!

The manual is easy to find, the yahoo Harrison group has it for download I believe . The manual is very basic

Looks like you have the small spindle version, same as mine .
Did you get any steadies with it ? I had to buy a fixed steady, cost me a small fortune

There is a detailed description of a L5 rebuild on a site somewhere

BTW I would be surprised if yours has a quiet clutch
here

I tried joining the yahoo group for the manual and stuff but i find the site so hard to navigate and i cant seem to join up so gave up on it!

You dont happen to have a PDF available?

No unfortunately no steadys im activity looking for them and a 127T change gear... like everybody else!

Haha yeah its horrendous colors i will probably paint it because it really bugs me!

I like the Kermit the frog colours !

I may have a PDF manual somewhere . Will take me a while to find it .

I may have a PDF manual somewhere . Will take me a while to find it . On my L5 the clutch handle has a nasty habit of jumping out of its seat and the spindle turns when you dont want it to.......be careful

Glad to help, I have a Colchester lathe and a Covmac lathe, but I do have a Harrison H/V Mill. superbly built machines.

Are these fittings standard on this model and what greese and or oil are you using? See somebody had a good chuck vs top slide battle..
