The speed change assembly is attached to the upper belt housing using two socket head screws. The fins go towards the Bridgeport lettering.
Connect the chain to the speed change plate like this using the t-bolt and the cotter key. Be sure and bend at least one leg out on the cotter key.

Time to install the handle. On mine I just had to tighten the set screw...directly over the flat spot on the shaft.
Install the wavy spring washer on the shaft next to the bronze bearing.
Wavy spring washer....remember this? Hope you didn't lose it.
