The chain from the speed change drum should be like this or have it's pivot point on the drum slightly left as you look at it.
Make sure it's set to 4200...don't attach the face plate yet!.
The speed on the unit needs to be set at it's maximum. The speed change plate close to the top of the upper belt housing.
Time to install the speed indicating dial. I bought a new one the other was really worn and hard to read.

The other end of the speed change plate has to be connected with a cotter key and a Hardened washer to the end of the plate adjusting screw.
Connect the chain to the speed change plate like this using the t-bolt and the cotter key. Be sure and bend at least one leg out on the cotter key.
