Install the gear...this side facing you. Really this is the best time to put some gear lube on this gear.
Make sure you lube the worm gear.
Install the bearing block/speed change hub with the four cap screws as shown.
At this point you can reinstall the speed change hub/bearing block back into the housing.
Install the gear...this side facing you. Really this is the best time to put some gear lube on this gear.
When installing the gear(from last picture) push the pin on the back of the gear into this hole on the speed change hub.
This pin on the gear gets installed in the hole on the speed change hub. See next picture.
After cleaned it was easy to push the hub back into the bearing plate by hand. I also lightly sanded it with 600 grit paper then lightly oiled it.

See the screw sticking out in the groove? This screw if on the wrong side of the "speed Over-limit Stop screw" will mess up how your dial reads/the numbers starting and stopping where they go.
